There is never a telephone call in number provided where with GOTO Meeting, ZOOM and other platforms there is always a telephone number provided. I am recommending all my associates to use these other platfomrs until Micrtosoft get is act together.

After reading through your information regarding audio it reinforces the continued use of Zoom and Goto Meeting as the audio does not result in additional cost. Microsoft, as usual has released yet another product that is not fully thought out before its release.  When you get it right we will consider using Teams.

I am not using Teams but Unfortunately many of the partner manufacturers are and it makes having on line meeting difficult as there is "never" a call in number option provided.  I do not have a built in mic on my Lenova desktop; thus, I never have audio access on these meeting.

Therefore, I am pushing everyone to use GoTo Meeting or Zoom

I have spoken to various Teams meeting organizers and to the person they all say it is not clear within TEAM how to set this up. Maybe you can clarify this process better to the general public just how this process to set up the audio works.  I would suggest making it an automatic, selectable setting for the meeting participants.

Until this is clarified I will not be moving to Teams for my meetings.

    I totally understand your point.

If you want to have a phone number in a Teams meeting, it is mandatory for the meeting scheduler to have Audio conferencing enabled and correctly set up.

    Sorry for the inconvenience :(

    Hello !

Are you using MS Teams by yourself or are you using business licenses ?

If you are using MS Teams with your business, you have to have Audio Conferencing licenses, and assign it to users who schedule the meetings.

    Here's more on this : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams...

I am managing a Teams tenant, so feel free to ask any other questions !
