I get this error when I try to import excel table in Microsoft Teams Using Microsoft Lists. This also happens when i use to import Excel table from Microsoft Lists application.

An error occurred while creating your items. Could not obtain a WAC access token.

Any idea?

Just gone through this exercise of trying to understand the problem with a Microsoft technician.  Spent about 1.5 hours testing multiple scenarios of why my list would not work.

In the end we "succeeded" with using a spreadsheet in xlsx format. My was 19 columns wide, 200 lines long with text, numbers and long paragraphs.  The header was the issue.  We took the header out and loaded WITHOUT a header and I am manually changing the uploaded LIST headers to those that were in my spreadsheet.  My original header list had questionmarks in "?" in and were 3 short words long.  LISTS did not like it.

We believe its a bug and is being flagged as such.  Hopefully the above workaround will help you get on and be productive.  Good luck. Phil

Still unable to create a SharePoint list. I uploaded the XLS under documents, went to "Site contents", clicked New > List > From an existing list - and the only options I see are SharePoint lists that already exist. If I try and create a new list from Excel, I get the error, "An error occurred while creating your items. Could not obtain a WAC access token." I had no issues creating lists 2 weeks ago (9/14/2020). I've tried in multiple browsers and multiple XLS files - same error every time.
