Teams Desktop App - Error Code 0xCAA30194

Our organization just recently migrated to O365. Teams has been working properly, however now we have users that are not able to use the desktop app. The error is: failing to connect. I have read MSFT's other cache clearing solutions. I have attempted to clear it all to include removing and reinstalling Teams all together. I have cleared CCMCACHE as well as reinstalled user's software center (SCCM). Im not quite sure what the next step should be. So user's say that they received a Teams update prior to being kicked out of the desktop app. Please help!

Hello TerriQV,

First of all, please try to let the affected users try to sign in Teams web app to see if there is any difference. It’s important to confirm whether it’s a Teams client issue.

If the issue only happens to Teams desktop client, please add this key in your Windows registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Office \ 16.0 \ Common \ Identity

Name = DisableADALatopWAMOverride

Type = DWORD

Value = 1

Please feel free to post back if you have any update on it.

Regards,

Rick
