Hello Customer,

We do understand your scenario about Teams automatic spelling check, and I did a lot of research about disabling red wavy lines. However, as far as I know you cannot turn off automatic spelling check in Teams.

On another hand, if you concerned about disabling spelling check in Teams, it is recommended that please vote the feature at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/32237818-allow-turning-off-automatic-spell-checking and leave your good ideas there. Microsoft will keep monitoring customers feedback and good ideas there, some features would be added into the product and services based on customers feedback in the future, and your good ideas will be very helpful for the dedicacted develop engineers in Microsoft to improve their product and services, thanks.
