Hi Mary_D_434

Thanks for your post in the community.

Based on your requirement, if you use Windows currently, first you need to check Privacy settings in Windows which allow apps to access your camera. (Settings in Windows>Privacy>Camera). Meanwhile, kindly verify the camera is available at other devices/apps.

In addition, please check if the camera is selected in Teams client (Click on the avatar at the right-upper of Teams client>Settings>Devices)

Furthermore, if the issue persists, please sign in Teams web app to check if the camera is available. It is useful to judge if the issue associated to Teams client or your account. Besides, to provide further assistance, kindly share the screenshot about the phenomenon to us.

Looking forward to your update and we’re always be here for you.

Regards,

Joey

    Hi Marieke

Based on your scenario, you first need to verify this camera works, you can use other apps or other devices to connect and check the camera. If your camera is workable on other apps or devices, to verify the issue associated to Teams client, you can sign in Teams web app to check if the camera is available. Besides, the video feature can't be applied in some browsers. Please choose and use the suitable browsers by referring the article

    Looking forward to your update.

    Regards,

    Joey

Teams doesn't seem to 'see'  my camera. I've already allowed Teams to use my camera by going to Settings-Privacy-Camera, and also tried to allow it in the Teams app by clicking on the avatar in the upper right corner of Teams-Client-Settings-Devices. At the camera option it says: None. This option is also grayed out so I can't change what it says. My daughter needs to be able to use the camera option in Teams for school. Help!
