Hi everyone,

I am unable to download video files from my team group created by our teacher, but my friends are able to download the video files from the same group. I have tried multiple times but the issue does not seems to fix. Whenever I download a file it gets downloaded to some extent say 60% but then it prompts "needs authorization" as shown in the screenshot below.

Regards,

Shahzaib

    ShahzaibTahamee,

Have you tried to tell a colleague to send you the file in matter individually, in a Private Message? Or to the teacher?

I also found this link online that might be helpful: https://windowsreport.com/teams-cant-download-f...

    Thanks Juan,

Yes I have tried all the solutions you mentioned above, I also tried using the mobile and web app but it does not seems to work,  also, it is not happening with a specific team it is happening to all the teams I am enrolled in. Teacher have given access permission to all the students and not only to individuals.

    Hello ShahzaibTahamee,

My name is Juan Pedro, I am an Independent Advisor and consumer of Microsoft products. I will be more than happy to assist you today!

Have you tried logging out and logging back to Teams? Or rebooting your computer/device?

Also, have you asked your teacher if permissions were granted for you to download it, or just to specific individuals?

I hope this helped. I will be around in case you need something else.

    Thank you.
