MS Lists Help - Running Total

Hello,

I have a list to track the number of items remaining after sale of a medical device. The item stock is checked daily due to the nature of the product.

I would like to set the total as 50 in stock, and whenever I note that 2 have been prescribed, the total now would show 48.

Is this possible?

    Thanks for posting in the community.

    According to your description, before providing any suggestion about your requirement, I would like to collect more details about your list. May I know how you use the list to record all data, recording each product as one item or recording product total and outbound records as items? You can share a screenshot of the list or a test list for us to better understand.
