No, it doesn't mean like that. You can try to create a new Windows user profile then install the MS Team app in a new Windows user profile.

However, If the problem still persists then, please try the following things below:

    • Try to access assignment files from MS Team mobile app.
    • Try to access assignment files from a different computer that has the operating system Windows 10.
    • Upgrade your operating system from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

    Kind Regards

please try to create a new fresh environment for MS Team and see how it goes. You can always go back to the previous Windows account profile whenever you want.

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Create a new Windows 7 account:

    https://www.webucator.com/how-to/how-create-sec...

    1. Install MS Team in a new windows account.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/m...

If the problem still persists then, please try the following things below:

    • Try to access assignment files from MS Team mobile app.
    • Try to access assignment files from a different computer that has the operating system Windows 10.

Please be informed, as per the article below, the minimum system requirement is Windows 8.1. It's not recommended to use MS Team app on Windows 7, as per my experience using the MS Team in Windows 7 creates many issues and produces inconsistent results: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams...

It's highly recommended you use at least Windows 8.1 (preferably Windows 10),

    Hi

My name is Daniel. I am an Independent Advisor.

May I ask a few questions below:

    1. Am I correct to understand you use Windows 7?
    2. Can you access the assignment via MS Teams online? Please visit this link https://teams.microsoft.com please only use Chrome or Edge as officially recommended browsers.
