Teams recording bug?

Hey Microsoft. We were recently using Microsoft Teams to record our meeting. After the meeting was recorded, I downloaded the video and found a bug that I think was caused by Microsoft Teams. The video works perfectly when browsing from sharepoint.com, but after downloading it, some part of the audio went missing. It was a weird bug. If I start the video from the beginning, the audio somehow disappears since 15:50 to the end. But if I click on 15:51 and play the video, the audio come back. I think the audio has always been there, but the audio track gets cutoff somehow at 15:50. Send me an email at ******@gatech.edu if you want to see this sample.

BTW do you still recruit software engineer interns? Seems you need some software engineers to get rid of these bugs. I am happy to help :).

    Hi

My name is Daniel. I will be more than happy to assist you.

Could you please download the recording video to your local computer then play it K-Lite Codec Pack Mega as a media player?

As per my experience using K-Lite Codec Pack Mega as a media player can be helpful to some extend playing corrupt video files or a video file with a missing codec. Doesn't work all the times but something you can try and see if it makes any difference:

If still doesn't work then could please try to reach out to your collages and ask them if they have downloaded the recorded video in good condition, if yes then please ask them to send you the recorded video via private chat.

However, If the problem still persists I'm afraid there's nothing much you could about it other than assisting you with further instruction on how to move forward this issue to the MS Support for further investigations.
