Missing Features - PowerPoint Live

Hi,

We're trying to get PowerPoint Live via Teams working. We can launch the PP via Teams, have PP saved on OneDrive, a meeting open > Present in Teams - great.

The only strange thing is when I have the Teams window open, the GUI is only showing the slide navigation, there's no pen tools, no translate, no sync to present.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Version: 1.5.00.31168 (64-bit).

    Hello Dexter101,

My name is Joanna, I am an Independent Advisor and as well as a long-time Microsoft user. I’ll be happy to help you out today.

    Have you try the following:

    1. Turn on and off the device
    2. Update the latest version of the device
    3. Unistall and install the app
    4. Clear Cache

Please let me know if this doesn't work or if you need further assistance.

    Thank you.

This is solved, this is the solution:

Close out of Teams Delete %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams Delete the entire key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Teams

The app was starting in VDI mode

    Hi Dexter101,

Have you try to use this method to clear the cache.

    Clear Teams cache in Windows

If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the taskbar, and then select Quit.

Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows logo key +R.

In the Run dialog box, enter %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams, and then select OK.

Delete all files and folders in the %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams directory.

    Restart Teams.

Please let me know if this doesn't work or if you need further assistance.

    Thank you.

    Hi Dexter101,

Have you tried to check your presenter view.

If you're using Teams on the web, you’ll need Microsoft Edge 18 or later, or Google Chrome 65 or later, to see the presenter view.

Presenter view is hidden by default for small screen devices but can be turned on by selecting More options below the current slide and then Show presenter view (or by selecting the sharing window and then pressing Ctrl+Shift+x).

Please let me know if this doesn't work or if you need further assistance.

    Thank you.
