Mute a Teams Channel for a set amount of time

Hello there,

I have searched for a solution to this, and have looked at options in the channel but I can't find how to mute notifications for a set time only (e.g. for 4 hours at a time) in Teams Channel chats.

As a channel member (not admin) is it possible to mute a channel for, say, 2 hours, and then for it to unmute after that time so that I don't accidentally miss anything important?

I'd really like to see an option like this added. There are times when muting an active discussion thread is vital, but needing to remember to go find and unmute it later can be problematic. The simply ability to mute for an hour, or a day, or the existing "until I turn it off" would be a big uplift to productivity.

I 2nd this. I use Teams for critical notifications during the day, but don't want to see the notifications on evenings or weekends because our SOC is fielding those alerts. A custom time frame available for each day would be ideal.

Unfortunately we do not have the option in Teams to automatically mute notification for specific periods and then unmute after the set time. See options available to customize channel notifications in Microsoft Teams;
