I have the same issue! I have 800 members on my Teams page that post questions. Once they have been answered and acknowledged I need to delete them but now my page is full of "this message has been deleted". These are in the way of important posts.

    Dear Beatrice Seck,

Good day. After thorough research and consulting, it’s been concluded that the feature you are inquiring about is currently unavailable. Microsoft Teams does not currently offer a way to remove the "This message has been deleted." placeholder after you delete a message. This is a known limitation and there isn't a built-in feature to completely erase these notifications.

As workaround you can  try to reset the teams app and check if there is any difference.

    1. Type settings in the search box, and then select the Settings app from the results.
    2. Select Apps > Installed apps, and then type Microsoft Teams in the search box.
    3. Locate the New Microsoft Teams app from the results, select the More options button (...) on the right, and then select Advanced options.
    4. In the Reset section, select Reset.
    5. Restart Teams.

    and check
