UWP apps socket connection over the internet

Hi,

We have 2 UWP apps which share data between them through socket connection. It was built for a LAN. But now the client wants to run it over the cloud. So now we can't use the local IPs we used for socket connection. So is there any option to continue to use sockets to communicate between the 2 apps over the internet, without having a static IP?
Please let us know what are the options we have.

Hi,
you can use DynDNS in your internet router and then use in DynDNS registered Url.

Thank you for the reply. But to do that every user will need to have a DynDNS account and a URL, which I think will not be practical.

Hi, only users with server functionality must have a DynDNS connectivity.
