Teams Auto-Pin

The Auto-pin feature is when a channel can automatically show up for the whole team and make it appear in everyone's channel list.

It can be set two ways from Teams as described in the following link:

But this is exactly why i am so surprised!
If you are not affiliated with Microsoft, then you don't actually know that it is in preview. and you don't have any instructions for using the feature (so did you just make those up??)

I know Microsoft affiliates and employees do visit the site and often give very good answers actually, hoping to get some concrete response on if/when we can expect this feature, or instructions/documentation.

seriously though, what is going on? Why do you have instructions and information for a feature that never actually existed?

This is quite different to your original answer..... is this feature actually available? or not?
Anyway:
No, these instructions don't work for me (or maybe i need more guidance).

I am a teams admin and i do not find the settings you describe in the admin center.

I went to Teams Admin Center > Teams > Teams Policies > opened the default policy and there is no setting called "Auto-Pin".

Was I looking in the right place?
Or can you describe in more detail where we can find this policy?

Thanks for confirming Joshua, How did you know that? is this on some kind of roadmap?

it was not fully released 3 years ago too! i think it should at least be hidden if Microsoft don't plan on actually finishing it.
