Unable to remove guest from SharePoint group

Somehow (prior to my time) a guest was added to the organization's private SharePoint Group. Per the screenshot, there is no drop-down option to remove the guest (as there is for other members) and all other actions (trying to manage from guest expiration, removing the user from Microsoft 365, etc.) have been unsuccessful in removing the guest from this group.

Based on the image, it appears that the guest user was added to the group by mistake. There is no option to remove the guest user from the group, as there is for other members.

The main cause of that is usually permission issues; so, make sure that you have the necessary permissions to remove members from the group.

Advanced Permission Settings: Access the advanced permission settings for the site. Navigate to the group where the guest user is a member. Remove the guest user from the group directly.

SharePoint Admin Involvement: If you're unable to resolve the issue, contact your SharePoint administrator. They might have additional tools or permissions to remove the guest user.

Guest Expiration: If the guest user's access is temporary, wait for their guest access to expire automatically.
