Hello,

I created a custom made column within Lists. I am trying to delete it, but there is no Edit option under Column Settings. How do I delete this custom made column?

Thank you

    Dear Ken-097,

Thank you for your response. I apologize for any inconvenience. Based on the information you provided; I have tested this on my end. I created a calculated column and attempted to delete it, but I couldn't see the edit option. However, I was able to delete or edit the column using the following steps:

    1. Open the list.
    2. Click on the settings icon in the top right corner.
    3. Select 'List settings.'
    4. Under the 'Columns' section, select the column and scroll down—you should see the 'Delete' option.

Could you please check if you can see this option on your end? Let us know if your scenario is different.

I am looking forward to your response for further assistance.

Thank you for your understanding. Your cooperation and contributions are greatly appreciated.

    Kind Regards,

    Nahid Sultan

    Hello Nahid,

I didn’t delete any files that I need to recover. I’m only trying to delete a column I made.

    1. I created the column by going to “+Add column”, then “see all column types”, then created the column using “calculated”. I then added a formula for this column.
    2. I can delete the other columns, just not this one that I custom made from scratch. I don’t have the ability to screenshot at the moment.

There is no “Edit” option under this column so I can’t even change the column name or formula.

    Thank you.
