Error with Copilot Studio: SystemError Code

Hi Microsoft Support team

I am experiencing an issue with Copilot Studio in Microsoft Teams. The chatbot was functioning perfectly, answering questions accurately. However, during the conversation, I encountered the following error message, which caused the chatbot to stop working:

_"Sorry, something unexpected happened. We’re looking into it. Error code: SystemError. Conversation ID: a:1mIgFPvh5vNeD171o5iuEvt4s7BHvHG-CQw2-nnNq4_P0-g1xXjgQLl79imtufbeG2iBUl4w2fm0Q1IvR7GHYLW3v6B7thDrawk0dL1dt8hxp_mPH1KNd0ITOvOCWXGCO. Time (UTC): 10/10/2024 1:28:46 PM."_

All the knowledge that the chatbot was using was uploaded directly into the system. This error appeared suddenly, and I haven't been able to proceed since.

Could you please assist in identifying the cause of this error and suggest a resolution? Thank you for your support.

    Microsoft Engineers are looking into it and are giving me an update this week. I've found the issue but it needs them to find out why it's happening and implement some sort of fix. My issue is topic count, 125 topics or more switched on and it results in an error. As soon as I switch off any topic and drop below 125 live topics, it works again. I have a license that allows up to 1000. Very odd.

    Hello Shatha Alzaydi,

    Did you find any solution for it ? I am also facing similar issue. My copilot was working perfectly till this morning but not started getting same issue which you have mentioned.
