Teams Files App not working correctly

Hello,

We have a user in our organization who can't work with his Teams Files correctly - either from the web version or the desktop client whenever he opens the Files tab, he gets a blank page.

I checked if his OneDrive will load normally through portal.office.com/onedrive but instead of to his personal OneDrive page, it redirects him to delve.office.com and probably this is the reason for the Teams Files App to not load correctly but is there anything else different from submitting a ticket to Microsoft that we can do? Clearing the cache and re-installing the Teams client didn't help as the issue is most probably not from the desktop client.

Thanks!

P.S. We also discovered that when he types /files in the Teams search bar, it opens the files correctly but in the New Teams this option is not available so there he can't open them in any way.

    Hello

I’m Adeyemi and I’d be happy to help you with your question.

I understand that one of your users is having trouble with the Teams Files tab showing a blank page, and that OneDrive is redirecting to Delve. Here are some potential solutions:

    1. Clear Teams Cache: Fully exit the Microsoft Teams desktop client, go to File Explorer, and type in %appdata%\Microsoft\teams. Once in the directory, remove all the files and restart Teams.
    2. Check OneDrive Permissions: The issue might be caused by the user not having the necessary permissions for their personal site on OneDrive. The Microsoft 365 administrator can grant these permissions by going to the SharePoint admin center, clicking on user profiles, and then on Manage User Permissions.
    3. Check Teams Client Version: Make sure the Teams client is up-to-date. You can do this by clicking on the profile image in Teams and selecting Check for Updates.
    4. Check OneDrive Redirection: If OneDrive is redirecting to Delve, you can stop the redirect by appending the “Force=True” parameter to the URL.
    5. Contact Microsoft Support: If none of these solutions work, you might need to contact Microsoft Support for further assistance.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello Adeyemi,

    1. We already did that without any result.
    2. How can I check the permissions of the personal sites on OneDrive? I see only the shared sites in the Admin Center.
    3. Teams client is up to date.
    4. So the URL should look like 'portal.office.com/onedrive&Force=True'? Meanwhile I found a setting in SharePoint saying that the Delve portal is disabled for our organization but it still redirects the user there...
    5. This would be my last option.

    Thank you!
