    Hello Roxanna,

For Microsoft Teams, the features you're asking about – manual registration approval, enabling a waitlist, and setting registration time limits – should be available with the Microsoft 365 Business Premium plan, as it includes full capabilities for hosting webinars.

However, some advanced features may require an additional license or add-on, such as the Microsoft 365 E3 or E5 plan, which are enterprise-level licenses that include more advanced meeting and webinar functionalities.

If the features are not available in your current Microsoft 365 Business Premium plan, I would recommend:

    • Checking with your IT administrator to ensure that all the webinar features have been enabled for your organization in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

    Thank you, Ibhadighi

    Hello Roxanna,

Thank you for letting me know.

With a Microsoft 365 Business Premium license, you generally have access to a comprehensive set of features in Microsoft Teams, including advanced meeting and webinar functionalities. However, specific features like manual registration approval, enabling a waitlist, and setting limits on registration time and end date for a webinar in Teams were not standard options in Teams, even with Business Premium licenses.

    Thank you, Ibhadighi

    Hello Roxanna,

I'm Ibhadighi and I'd happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

If you're missing options such as manual approval for registration, waitlist functionality, or the ability to set registration time limits and end dates in Microsoft Teams webinar setup, it could be due to one of several reasons:

    1. Feature Availability: These features may not be available in all Microsoft Teams licenses. Ensure that your specific Teams license supports these features.
    2. Make sure you are using the latest version of Microsoft Teams, as these features may not be present in older versions.
    3. Your organization's Teams admin may need to enable these features. Sometimes, features are disabled by default and need to be turned on through the admin portal.
    4. Certain features are controlled by policy settings in Teams. Check with your admin to ensure that the relevant policies are assigned to your user account.
    5. If these features are new, they may not have been rolled out to all users or regions yet. Microsoft often deploys new features in waves.
    6. Teams Web vs. Desktop App: Some features are only available in the desktop app and not the web version. If you are using the web version, try the desktop app instead.

To resolve this issue, you should:

    • Check your license and update Teams to the latest version.
    • Contact your Teams administrator to inquire about the availability and policy settings of these features.
    • If you're an admin, review the Teams admin center for any settings that may be restricting these options.

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards, Ibhadighi
