Can you schedule a status message on Teams?

I would like to set my status message on a recurring schedule. Currently, I am using an account on a shared computer. I like to set my name as my status message so people know when it's me, and set it to a coworker's name when they are using the account (ex. when covering the desk for me).

Rather than having to manually change the status every time (since I often forget), it would be nice to have it on a recurring schedule (ex. Mondays from 10am-11:30am set status to 'John' and show in chat).

Alternatively, if there is a way to have preset options rather than typing the name every time that could also work.

    Dear SSO Success,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Setting a recurring status message in Microsoft Teams isn't a built-in feature, but you can achieve this using Power Automate. This may involve creating a Scheduled Flow in Power Automate and adding Steps to Set the Status Message. Because the current forum channel you're posting focuses on Microsoft 365 for Business, especially Exchange Online builds, for more details using Power Automate, please reach out to Microsoft Power Automate community by visiting this website Power Automate - Microsoft Community Hub or in Microsoft Power Platform Community Forum Thread. I am sure that our experts from that team can address your query effectively and accurately.

For preset options, you can manually set status messages in Teams; Click your profile picture at the top right of Teams > Select Set status message > Type your message and choose to show it when people message you > Set a duration for the message to clear automatically if needed, Set your status message in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Support [e82d-fd58-dac-1767].

This way, you can quickly switch between preset messages without typing them each time.

If you need more detailed steps or run into any issues, feel free to ask!
