    Hi B.gatc.c,

Thank you for replying, and the information that you have given to me I really appreciate it.

According to your detail, you're hitting a common limitation in Microsoft Teams' native scheduling features for posts. While you can schedule a single post for a future date and time, there's no built-in "recurrence" option directly within the compose box for channel posts.

However, there are several ways to achieve daily repeating reminders or posts in a Teams channel:

1/ Using Microsoft Power Automate (Recommended for structured posts)

This is the most powerful and flexible solution for creating recurring, formatted posts in Teams channels. Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow) is a low-code/no-code service for building automated workflows.

    How to set it up:

    • Go to the Microsoft Power Automate and sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.
    • Click Create on the left-hand navigation pane, then select Scheduled cloud flow.
    • Name your flow (e.g., "Daily Team Reminder").
    • Set the recurrence:
      • Choose your start date and time.
      • Set the Repeat every interval (e.g., "1 Day").
      • You can also specify time zone and at these hours/minutes for more precise timing.
      • You can even choose specific days of the week if you only want it on weekdays, for example.
    • Click Create.
    • Add a new step: Search for "Microsoft Teams" and select the action "Post a message in a chat or channel".
    • Configure the action:
      • Post as: You can choose "Flow bot" (a generic bot user) or "User" (your own account).
      • Post in: Select "Channel".
      • Team: Choose the Microsoft Team.
      • Channel: Select the specific channel where you want the reminder to appear.
      • Message: Compose your reminder message here. You can use rich text, links, and even dynamic content (e.g., @{utcNow()} to include the current date/time in the post).
    • Save your flow.
    • Test it to ensure it works as expected.
    • Pros:
      • Highly customizable: You can include rich text, images, links, tables, and even "Adaptive Cards" for interactive elements.
      • Automated: Once set up, it runs automatically.
      • Flexible scheduling: Daily, weekly, monthly, specific days of the week, precise times.
      • Can pull data from other sources (e.g., a SharePoint list, Excel file) to make your daily reminder dynamic (e.g., "Today's tip is...").
    • Cons:
      • Requires a bit more initial setup than the @remind bot.
      • You need a Microsoft 365 license that includes Power Automate (which is common for most business subscriptions).

2/ Using Third-Party Apps from the Teams App Store

There are various third-party apps available in the Microsoft Teams App Store that specifically cater to scheduling posts and reminders.

    • How to use:
      • In Teams, click on "Apps" on the left sidebar.
      • Search for "reminders" or "scheduling."
      • Explore options like "Reminds Pro" (mentioned in search results) or other similar tools.
      • Install the app and follow its instructions to set up recurring posts.

    • Pros:
      • Often provide a user-friendly interface for scheduling.
      • May offer additional features like attaching files (some premium versions).
    • Cons:
      • May have subscription costs for advanced features.
      • You're relying on a third-party service, so consider your organization's IT policies on app installations.

We truly appreciate your patience as we look into this matter. Thank you for choosing Microsoft and we value your support.

    Best regards.
