Why did my Azure free credits finish in one day after using only few free tier resources?

My free credit finished very quickly and i did not even use any paid services. I really need my free trial account to be enabled so i can participate in the Azure Cloud developer league hackathon.

What services did you use? Maybe you created some costly service and didn't terminate/stop it and it kept on charging every hour..

I used the text analytics resource which is a free tier service. Please tell me how i can see exactly where my credits have been spent. I searched through the entire Azure interface and couldn't find it.

You should be able to check your credit balance over at the Cost Management + Billing pane.

Thank you! I was able to see a receipt. It says most of our credits were used by following two resources:

Synapse workspace (SR613.41)

Search service (SR322.56)

Are these not free? The cognitive search resource is listed among the free resources in this site: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-in/free/free-account-faq/

Yes i did. So im guessing thats what happened. Any way i could get the credits refunded? I barely got enough time to try out anything :(
