MFA reset through MsGraph API "ResetTraditionalAuthenticationMethods"

Question

Using a Microsoft application account for which the following MsGraph API permissions were assigned (User.ReadWrite.All, UserAuthenticationMethod.ReadWrite.All and many others), does Microsoft supports the API https://graph.microsoft.com/beta/users/<userid>/authentication/methods/resetTraditionalAuthenticationMethods for MFA reset? Either in BETA or V1.0 ?

When trying to run it, I get the error 403 “accessDenied – Request Authorization failed”.
