Microsoft 365 with python

Hello,

For my Business that I just started I need python in Excel for the administrational use.

That's why I applied Microsoft 365 but I cant put it to microsft 365 insider. I thinks that this is probably because my license is connected to my university account and because I followed all the steps on the microsoft website to install it. or could there be an other step that i skipped.

I don't mind paying extra to use this function but what is the cheapest option to get Python as a function in Microsoft function? I have a Business but I don't have an email address or Microsoft account connected to it.

Thank you in advance!!

Regards,

Marvin Noten

    Hello Marvin Noten

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

It seems like you are having an issue in regard to the Microsoft 365 Python for Excel. Let's work together to find the best solution to this problem.

Microsoft 365 offers a way to use Python libraries to clean up, explore, and analyze data right within the familiar, secure Excel environment . You can use familiar Excel formulas and functions with the custom calculations and plots of Python. The best part is that there’s no need to install anything .

It was clearly stated that you are having trouble installing Microsoft 365 Insider. It is because your license is connected to your University account. I would suggest to get in touch with your IT administrator to further assist you with this matter.

If you’re looking for the cheapest option to get Python as a function in Microsoft, you can try using the Python in Excel feature that’s available in Microsoft 365. This feature is gradually rolling out to Public Preview for those in the Microsoft 365 Insiders program Beta Channel . You can also sign up for the Microsoft 365 Developer Program to get a free Microsoft 365 subscription.

We look forward to your next response.

    Kind regards
