    HiKrishna_2023

    Greetings!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

However Python in Excel is currently in preview and is subject to change based on the feedback. To use this feature, join theMicrosoft 365 Insider Programand choose theBeta ChannelInsider level.

Python in Excel is gradually rolling out to Excel for Windows customers using the Beta Channel. At this time, the feature is not available on other platforms.

Thanks Khou for the response. I followed the link shared by you earlier , updated the registry on my laptop . Hence I got the Beta channel and accepted the license agreement, term & conditions. That means I have joined Microsoft insider Program , Isn't it ?

The screenshot above pasted after following the article available from https://insider.microsoft365.com/en-us/join/windows

    Please advise. Thank you

    Hi

Thanks for providing us with an update on your current concern.

But after seeing the options that showed on your end. It might be better if you select the recommended channel but it is also best that you seek advise from your IT administrator about this.

    Sincerely

    Hello

I don't know about the updating registry thing that you have mentioned.

But one thins is for sure, for Business/Education subscription: If the Microsoft 365 license on your device was provided through your work or school, a Microsoft 365 administrator manages your subscription.

Under Product Information, you may see Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise, or there may be no license specified. You won’t have the option to install or manage Insider builds unless your administrator has enabled it.

Note: If you are the Microsoft 365 admin for a business or school, see the Microsoft 365 Insider Program for Business information for IT admins.
