Python in Excel??

Question

I just joined the Insider program so I could get access to the new Python functions in Excel. The 365 has updated, but python is not there. How can I activate it? I have Windows 365, and have been watching several people demonstrate it in Youtube, but I have entered =py and looked under Formulas in the ribbon, and no luck.

Any hints would be appreciated.

To use Python in Excel, join the Microsoft 365 Insider Program. Choose the Beta Channel Insider level to get the latest builds of the Excel application.  

Once you’ve installed the latest Insider build of Excel, open a blank workbook, and take the following steps.  

1. Select Formulas in the ribbon.
2. Select Insert Python.
3. Select the Try preview button in the dialog that appears.

Same problem even though when I type insert python in the search bar an action appear but when I click nothing happens.

Lucky you. I didn't get required 16.0.16818.20000 version. I still have 16.0.16811.20000. (((
