Loop Component Error Message Returned

Until a few days ago, I was able to edit options in one of my Loop documents. Now, I can access all but one document and it's returning the following error message: "We're having trouble updating this component. To avoid losing any changes, please wait a moment and don't navigate away." I've refreshed, rebooted, signed out and back on...still nothing.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community!

I apologize for the inconvenience you’re facing with the Loop app. The error message you received indicates that there’s an issue updating a component within the app. To troubleshoot this, consider the following steps:

    1. Check for Updates: Ensure that your Loop app is up to date. Sometimes, new features or bug fixes are included in updates.
    2. Restart the App: Close the Loop app completely and then reopen it. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve minor issues.
    3. Clear Cache and Data: If restarting doesn’t help, try clearing the app’s cache and data. Go to your device’s settings, find the Loop app, and clear its cache and data. Note that this might log you out of the app, so make sure you know your login credentials.
    4. Reinstall the App: If the problem persists, uninstall the Loop app and then reinstall it from the app store. This can often resolve issues related to corrupted files.
    5. Contact Loop Support: If none of the above steps work, reach out to Loop’s customer support. They can provide specific guidance based on your device and account.
    6. Try signing out of the Loop app and signing back in. This can sometimes resolve the issue.
    7. If none of the above steps work, try creating a new document in Loop and see if you can save it successfully. If you can, the issue may be with the original document you were trying to save.

    Another workaround:

    1. Wait and Retry:
      • Sometimes, this error occurs due to temporary server issues or network glitches. Wait for a moment and then try again. If the problem persists, proceed to the next steps.
    2. Check Your Internet Connection:
      • Ensure that your device is connected to a stable internet connection. Unstable connections can cause update failures.
    3. Clear App Cache:
      • Go to your device’s settings.
      • Find the Loop app and select it.
      • Clear the app’s cache.
      • Restart the app and check if the issue persists.
    4. Update the App:
      • Make sure you’re using the latest version of the Loop app. If not, update it from your app store.
    5. Check for Known Issues:
      • Visit the official Loop support page or community forums to see if others have reported similar issues.
      • If there’s a known issue, the Loop team might be working on a fix.
    6. Contact Loop Support:
      • If none of the above steps resolve the issue, reach out to Loop’s customer support. They can provide specific guidance based on your device and account.

If the problem persists, don’t hesitate to seek further assistance from Loop’s support team.

    Best regards

    Hi Ciarra,

I have also run into this error message for a single Loop page I have.

I completely uninstalled the app and tried just using on the web and still get the message.

I have cleared my browser Cache, I have logged out and relogged in.

I consistently get it for that single page.

I have the same experience below - via the Loop website, not the mobile app. What's the procedure for me to get it online so that i can work on my Loop projects?

"You're offline.  Changes can be lost if you keep editing, reload, or navigate away."

Problem resolved. All I did was shutting down my laptop completely before turning it on.
