Return original settings for ie

Question

Hello. In the process of improper group policies, it was found that in the

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

A lot of different and wrong parameters.

How can I remove everything and return it to the defaults ?

Hi，

In this case, you can modify or reset the IE setting on the Host and use command line to affect the Clients with new group policy

Close all open windows and programs on Host PC
Open Internet Explorer, select Tools > Internet options.
Select the Advanced tab.
In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, select Reset. Or you can do some modifications
When Internet Explorer finishes applying default settings, select Close, and then select OK. Restart your PC to apply changes

Then use command line: gpupdate /force

That will apply your changed GPO settings right away. Or you can just wait a couple of hours because GPO is refreshed every 3 hours in random intervals.

Will this apply to all users or just the one who does it ?
