Will clusters running a depcrecated Databricks Runtime Version fail to start once EOL is reached?

The Databricks runtime support lifecycle states that: "Databricks reserves the right to completely remove a release version from the API at any time after support ends, without prior notice."

Does this mean that an all-purpose/job cluster with a runtime version that has reached End of Life (EOL) will fail to start/be created?

    Hi @Mathieu ,

You can continue to run your Azure Databricks runtime until you delete the cluster manually.
