Excel addin cache in production environment

Hello to everyone,

Me and my team encountered a problem in internal production environment, recently we changed our infrastructure:

• addin were served on root / and now is served on /excel
• our documentation was served on /docs and now is served on root /

after we published this changes we weren't able to see that changes applied, only after deleting excel cache, as clear-cache documentation says, the changes were effectively applied.

We tried to replicate this infrastructural changes in our dev environment and we had the same problem, additionally we saw that even if we clean the browser cache the changhes were effectively applied.

There's a way to avoid this "clear cache" action? We tried to change the manifest version (on our dev environment) but this not seem to help.
