Outlook for Mac High CPU Usage

The last update seems to have made Outlook use a whole lot of CPU. It is constantly running at around 130%. I don't know how to roll back to the previous version. I have restarted Outlook and the computer. The Outlook version is 15.30 (161215)

Any suggestions?

    Hi Matt,

To roll back to the previous version, we need to uninstall the currently installed Outlook for Mac 15.30, then reinstall Outlook for Mac 15.29. To uninstall Outlook 15.30 completely, please refer to Uninstall Office 2016 for Mac.

Note: Please back up the folders mentioned in the WARNING section.

For how to backup Outlook 2016 for Mac files, please refer to Export or manually archive Outlook items.

I could do with some help. I simply cannot use Outlook at all like this. It's running constantly at 98% and above, which means on a MacBook Air that Outlook doesnt respond. I had this with a previous release of uOutlook and now again. Starting to fear that "update" button...

How can we connect to resolve this?

    Hi Tomas,

Sometimes, if the mailbox is not synced completely, we may encounter this issue. You can look at the sync status window. Meanwhile, please provide the following information:

    1. Detailed version of Outlook for Mac and OS
    2. Please take a process sample for us. In the Activity Monitor window, double-click Microsoft Outlook, then click the Sample button and send us the text file.  PM: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/privatemessages/list

    Regards,

    Rick
