Using Outlook for Android in business environments for email and scheduling

- Have you tried to clear cache and data?
- Did you try to reset app preferences?
- Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Outlook?
In regards to the other questions, those don't seem to be related. I'm simply looking for a way to disable automatic checking for new email in the Outlook app. Nothing is "malfunctioning". I am fairly sure that isn't an option, but wanted to double check. My use case probably isn't one that Microsoft cares about... I don't plan on using Outlook as my primary app for sending and receiving email.
