Give automatic access to a sharepoint site when inviting an external guest using powershell

Hi Everyone,

Maybe it is me being stupid, but I cannot seem to workout how to get around this problem. I want to invite external guests to a sharepoint site (this is all I want to give them). u

Using the azure portal I can add new guest user, but after authentication, the new guest gets dumped into an unhelpfully empty 'myapplications.microsoft.com'.

If I use powershell to send the invitations, after authentication, the guest gets presented with a further 'request access' screen. I set the InviteRedirectURL to the sharepoint I want to give access to. The sharepoint permissions are set to allow access to a dynamic AD group that automatically includes all external users.

I am following the instructions here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/external-identities/b2b-quickstart-invite-powershell and using a version of this (New-AzureADMSInvitation -InvitedUserDisplayName "Sanda" -InvitedUserEmailAddress sanda@fabrikam.com -InviteRedirectURL https://myapps.microsoft.com -SendInvitationMessage $true). Is there another setting or command I need to run to 'authorise' access?

Thanks

    Hi @Martyn ,

We need some time to do some related tests and investigations. Any updates will be post here. Here is a blog about inviting external users via Azure AD you could have a look:
