Voting Buttons/function when sending to external 365 recipients

Hi,

We received an email from our sister company (an external 365 entity -not linked to us via exchange) that asked us to vote using the voting options - but we could not see the voting options anywhere.

We were able to create a voting email and send it internally between ourselves and it worked fine. However when it comes to an external org (also using 365), we are unable to see the voting options. Is there anything the sender needs to do -or at our end -to be able to see the voting interface on the incoming email.

Thanks

Paul

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your patience.

Based on the result of the consulting, this is an expected behavior. The vote button is an Outlook client feature and only works with the users in the same organization.

Thanks,

Mouran
