    Based on my research, Migration tool won’t change or replace previous link URL in Excel workbooks even if the linked files are uploaded to Sharepoint Online, we need to re-add the links again. If there are many linked files, this does require a lot of manual effort to create these links.

    I'm really confused why MS would do this.
    Why did all the links have to end up broken?
    I had over 100 links to various things that I use often enough to NEED but infrequently enough to not have been given the new link or know who to ask.

    This is a huge waste of time. Shame on you SharePoint Team.
