Sharepoint 2019 - open in explorer

Question

Hi,

I have an issue that is server related. When I go to a Sharepoint 2019 document library and click on Open in File Explorer (this only appears enabled in Internet Explorer) it tries to Sync with OneDrive, instead of opening the Windows Explorer.

Is this due to any server feature?

Yes, this is due to uninstallation of WebDAV redirectory, you could learn more about this feature by:

Go to server manager->add roles and features->install the WebDAV Redirector feature->restart the server.

And then go to start->search “services”->start the “WebClient” service.

Then you could use Open With Explorer as usual:
