In the safe mode, after cmd: manage-bde -protector -disable X:

Drive turned to RAW format by this command true? That it is not chkdsk supporting drv. any longer.

    Hello BleuOisou,

thank you for posting on the Microsoft Community Forums.

The error message "The Device is Not Ready" during drive decryption and the incomplete chkdsk command can be quite frustrating. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this:

    1. Ensure that the drive is properly connected to your system. If it's an external drive, try connecting it to a different USB port or another computer to see if the issue persists.
    2. Boot your system into Safe Mode and then run the "chkdsk" command. This can sometimes help complete the process without interruptions. To boot into Safe Mode, restart your computer and press "F8" (or the appropriate key for your system) before Windows starts. Select "Safe Mode with Command Prompt" and then run "chkdsk".
    3. If you're using BitLocker, you can use the "manage-bde" command to check the status and attempt to unlock the drive. Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run: manage-bde -status d: manage-bde -unlock d: -rp <your 48-digit recovery key> manage-bde -protectors -disable d: Replace "d:" with the appropriate drive letter and "<your 48-digit recovery password>" with your actual recovery password.
    4. If the drive is still not accessible, it could be a hardware issue. Try connecting the drive to another computer to see if it can be accessed. If not, the drive might need professional data recovery services.

    Best regards,

    Lei

Thank you for your here assisting this, moderator@microsoft.com :)

Error has in a week corrupted two of external drives used to save the files.

Before safe mode, tried a few ways, could not solve this and, counting on professional app to recover them both, found 100% free space unused, other word, the two drives have been erased before met the error 0x80070015 next. One by suddenly PC shutdown, another by while running new app + else hidden ones checking on.

The cmd from your advising here, getting not decrypted drv to it and it kept inaccessible.
