Teams keeps asking for credentials on Ubuntu 21

My MS teams client has been constantly asking for credentials to log in after both i) each PC restart and ii) any time I close the client without logging out from Ubuntu.

As my client is connected with a 2FA authentication this is getting a bit frustrating. Any help will be much appreciated!

Hi @FerlesAAlexandros-4590

Do you mean it always asking for credentials when you restart Teams for Linux?

If you no longer need to use security feature, you can disable it to revert the settings to use the less secure one-step verification.

To disable two-step verification, use these steps:

1)Open the Microsoft account on the web.
2)Sign in with your credentials.
3)Click the Security tab.
4)Click the Advanced security options tile.
5)Under the "Additional security" section, click the Turn off option.

Hi, hadn't used the app on Ubuntu for a long time.

Unfortunately, the security feature cannot be removed.

My question is why while on Windows I can close the Teams app any times I want and when I reopen it, it is already connected, on Ubuntu this does not hold. Is it a Teams problem, or an Ubuntu one?
