Text Message Code not working

I have several email accounts through microsoft, one for business, and several for gaming and such. Recently i tried to log onto one of my accounts and it said someone may be using my account. It asked me to choose to text a code to the phone number which is tied to the account, which i in turn attempt to do but it told me "There's a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to get this message, try again later.". This is the message i keep getting even several days after my first attempt at recovering. I then attempted to try the "i do not have these" option which it asked me to give it a email to send a link to i did. Then it brought me to a page where i have to fill out all the info i could about the account. I did the best to my ability but it asked for the emails and subject lines of some of the emails i received or sent. Since i used it for just gaming i never needed to send any emails recently and the received email would of been billing emails from the several gaming platforms i purchased from which i do not know the exact way they are sent to me. In the end after 3 attempts of trying to get this info right it told me after several attempts that i should just create a new account. So since i was having so much trouble with this i decided i wanted to update my security info on my main business email, but again it has asked for a text code verification and again it told me "There's a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to get this message, try again later." and the other option was to email the verification code the email in which i originally got locked out of. I do not want to get locked out of my main email so if someone could help me with my problem it would greatly be appreciated.

This article did not help, it is basically telling me to update my security info. Which if i attempt to do so it asked me to send a code to the  number i have on file which that will not work. i keep getting the message "There's a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to get this message, try again later." I am in a circle in which i cannot get out of without someone to help me by ether allowing the text message option to work because i still have the same phone and phone number that has been attached the account since day one or someone help me get by that part so i can update my info. i would prefer just to text the code to my phone number since it has not been changed since i got the account. I am doing my best not to lock my email account out. Can i get remote assistance or talk to a microsoft working one on one to help me.

    Dear Evan,

If you want to talk to Microsoft agent, you can contact Microsoft phone support in your region https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/405170... or you can contact them via chat https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/contactus/

As for code issues, that article is the main one to resolve those types of issues. However if you tried and it did not help, it would be better to contact Microsoft account support, which I have provided in the first reply. I am just a user, trying to help.
