Suddenly unable to copy/paste hyperlinks from Excel spreadsheet to Outlook (Office 365)

Question

Since I started my job 7 years ago, I've always been able to copy and paste information from our Excel spreadsheet that has hyperlinks to our property listings, into an Outlook email.  As of Monday morning (June 11, 2018), suddenly I have not been able to.  It only copies the text, and actually changes the format a bit when I paste it into the Outlook email...  but the hyperlink inside of the text is not copied over anymore.  The "Paste" options seem to have changed, too.  When I try to use the paste options, there seems to be a glitch, nothing will appear if I choose "Keep Source Formatting" or "Use Destination Styles", and if I try to use "Link & Keep Source Formatting", I get a Microsoft Outlook error that says "Outlook cannot obtain the data for the {###########-#####-####0###################} link.  I can use the "Picture" paste option and "Keep Text Only" paste option, but those options do not embed the hyperlink into the text in the email.  What has changed?  It only seems to be doing this on my desktop computer.  I can still use my laptop's Office the same way as always.  I've already had an IT expert try to figure it out, and he cannot.  I've Googled the issue and have not been able to find anything.  I really need to get this corrected for I am really reliant on being able to copy/paste our data with hyperlinks from Excel into Outlook.  (P.S.  If I just type in a hyperlink, or copy it from the web, it does paste correctly in Outlook...  it's only when I copy from another Office product into Outlook that it doesn't work!)  Please help!

According to your description, you are unable to copy contents with hyperlink to Outlook client.

To find the root cause, we need to collect some detailed information about your situation.

1. The detailed version of Excel and the Outlook client.
2. Since you mentioned this problem occurs on June 11, did you update the Office applications or the Windows OS?
3. About the hyperlink, what link do you use? If you try using another link, for example, www.office.com, will this problem occur?
4. Give us some screenshots about the symptom. Please use www.office.com as the hyperlink.
5. Do any other user in your organization encounter the same problem?

For now, as we don’t know if the problem is related to Outlook client or not, please manually edit the hyperlink in the Outlook client. We apologize for all inconvenience this problem caused.
