Category Sort in Calendar

Is there a way to sort calendar by category, in calendar view, not list view?  We have several tasks that span days or even weeks so they aren't attached to a specific hour during the day.  I would like to sort these by category instead of when they're accepted.

Thank you for getting back to us. In Outlook, you can sort tasks by categories or subject for your own needs. After sorting tasks by categories, you can easily find the certain tasks based on the specific categories or subject. Please be guided by the steps below:

    1. Open Outlook.
    2. Click on View tab.
    3. Select View Settings.
    4. Click on Sort. You will then have an option to modify your settings. You will see other options when you click on Filter > More Choices tab > Categories.

You can also access this link for more information on how you view your Outlook calendar.

Let us know if this will help resolve the issue.

    Thank you.

    Hi Amy,

Upon checking your case, we can see here that you want to sort your calendar. We would like to confirm if you are accessing your Outlook via the web browser (Outlook.com) or through the Outlook desktop app. Most likely when using Outlook.com, you can only create, change, delete, and share calendar events. Though you only have some options to sort the tasks by Status, Start date etc. Please refer to the image below:

Keep us posted for us to assist you further.

    Thank you.

I'm accessing Outlook from my desktop.
