Draft emails in Inbox

When I type a draft email in the new Outlook (Office 365), it shows up in my Inbox in addition to the Draft folder. It remains in the Inbox until it is sent.

I do not want to see drafts in the Inbox because (1) it is too cluttered, and (2) if the Draft is in reply to a message in my Inbox the Draft seems to somehow replace the original message so that I can no longer access it until the Draft is sent - meaning I cannot open attachments, forward to someone else, etc.

How can I change this?

    Hi Heather,

When you reply an email in Outlook client but don’t send it, it will show as a Draft email. You can directly double click the previous email to open the previous email and view the attachments in the previous email. Here is an example for Outlook for Windows client.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Barry
