How do I change default folder location for attaching files to emails

I am often sending different files from the same folder to different individuals. It drives me potty I have to go back to the default folder every time I go to attach another file

Can I change the default folder and if so how?

    Thank you for your reply.

    I am looking to change the default file where to pick up attachments for outgoing emails rather than where to save attachments for incoming emails - so this is different.

    I look forward to hearing from you.
