Task Printing in Table Format "An unexpected error has occurred"

My office uses Microsoft 365 Apps for business.  Recently, when I try to print my Task in Table Form, sorted by category then due date, I receive an error message that says "An unexpected error has occurred" where the preview should appear.  I can choose a specific task and view the task in Memo form, but not Table.  Choosing another printer has no effect.  What needs to be done in order to print my Tax in Table Form, sorted by category then due date?

Hello AnnVera,

Thanks for your post in Microsoft community.

Based on your post, seems this issue start to occurs recently, so would like to know is there any activity performed on your computer (such as update or install any application)?

Many times other open apps conflict with office apps and causing issue, so suggesting you to restart your PC and only open Outlook to check if it makes any difference.

Installed third party add-ins can conflict with Outlook and causing issue, so please try to start Outlook in safe mode (with CTRL + R and type : outlook.exe /safe) and check if Print preview with table style is working or not. If it works in Safe Mode, then it’s likely to be a conflicting or corrupt add-in. To check which one is corrupted add-ins, disable all add-ins and then open Outlook to confirm, if it works then enable add-in one by one until you get to the one which causing Outlook print issue.

Besides this, if is there any antivirus software is enable on your PC, please temporary disable it to check if it allow to print in table format.

If still issue persist, request you to kindly provide screenshot of your issue and your Outlook version details (by sharing Office account page screenshot with hide your email id), so we can help to check further.

Thanks you so much for your valuable time and co-operation on this post.

Regards,

Ankita Vaidya
