Microsoft authenticator app doesn't recognize my work email adress

My work email account with Microsoft office 365 demanded for a verification code for signing in, in order to do that i' ll have to get the code from microsoft authenticator app. However, the authenticator app doesn't even recognize my work email address with outlook. Please advise. Here is my email address and a screenshot of the prob:
