    Hi JulieMaycock,

    Thank you for your update.

Based on your mentioned description, we understand that you have Office 365 Exchange mailbox account and you can see missing emails under Outlook Web app client side, if so, at once we would like to suggest you please open Outlook application in safe mode in desktop client and see if you can see the emails or not. For safe mode > press Windows 10 + R keys > type outlook.exe /safe.

If the issue persist, kindly try to resolve the issue by using SaRA tool. This tool will further help you to identify the issue for Outlook or system. So, kindly try to download Sara Tool and sign in with your work or school account and select the Outlook related issue.

Here is the download link: SaRA tool

For more information about the tool, see Automatically diagnose and fix Outlook issues.

Meanwhile, if the missing emails are available under Outlook web app, could you please provide us the detailed screenshot about at which place the missing emails are available on Outlook web app?

To uploading screenshot > click on Image symbol > browse the captured screenshot image from the computer, click on Upload button.

    Regards,

    Darpan

    Hi JulieMaycock,

    Welcome to our forum community.

Based on your mentioned description, can we know please whether your mailbox account is Office 365 Exchange mailbox account into Outlook desktop application?

We suppose that you are using Office 365 Exchange mailbox account, if so, first we would like to suggest you please try to double verify that if you can see missing email into Outlook web app (OWA) or not.

Further, if your email account is Office 365 Exchange Online account and if you still cannot find missing emails into the mailbox, those emails can be recover with help of content search option. So, if you are not Office 365 admin, please contact them in your organization.

Because they can use Content Search and see that if those missing emails are still on the server, if yes, your admin can recover those emails for you from this mentioned article Recover deleted items in a user mailbox - Admin Help. Because, with help of content search, admin can export them to a PST file (also called an Outlook Data File), which the user can then use to restore the items back to their mailbox.

Note: If the emails are not available on server, we cannot recover those emails. So, make sure the emails are available on server.

We are highly appreciated your cooperation in our forum community.

    Regards,

    Darpan
