Hello,
I met an issue during Azure Active Directory B2C workflow. I must create several user flows for my international client.

A part of consumers are Japanese for example, and I have customized language to translate my contents (following figure).

I register a user with a Japanese name in my Azure AD B2C (user login are usernames instead of an email) without user flow.

However, it is impossible for my users to signin with their username if it contains non alphanumeric letters. I tried to delete the regex pattern in html content, but it is not in off to allow kanji or other letters non alphanumeric.

I do not find a solution to this issue in documentations provide by Microsoft and any demand was made in Azure Feedback. So, I write to you in order know if my problem has a solution and if it’s the case, how to configure my b2c tenant.

Best regards,

Hi @Houssem TOUMI · Thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately, as of now Azure AD B2C only supports Alphanumerical characters and you cannot signup or sign-in with usernames containing non-alphanumeric values.

I would suggest you to post a feedback regarding this at our feedback portal which is monitored by the product group for feature/product enhancements.
