I am here to assist you with updating the password in your Outlook.
Outlook behavior will cache the password by default.
What I recommend is to delete the cache in credential manager for the said account and re-enter it again in the Outlook prompt.
- Close Outlook
- Search for Credential Manager in Windows 10 Search (Control Panel > Credential Manager)
- Select the "Windows Credential"
- Search for the "account" that you want to change the password and delete
- Reopen Outlook afterwards
