The Mentioned mail feature and the @ (at symbol) indicator is only available if you are uisng the Outlook versions above:

I have tried adding the @ in outlook, nothing appears after that.
What else should I do ?

The Mentioned mail feature and the @ (at symbol) indicator do not need to be enabled, however they are only available in Exchange Server 2016, Exchange Server 2019, Exchange Online, or Outlook.com.
