Outlook Mailboxes not populating.

Hi,

The site I work for would like to use the calendar function within the Teams app.

Problem is they were using Gmail up til now as their main email source and I believe they will need an Outlook mail box to use the calendar feature.

I have applied the Exchange Online (Plan1) to a users account for testing but unfortunatly the mailbox will not populate.

I applied the licence last Friday and it is still showing the error: 'Something went wrong' 'A mailbox cannot be found'.

Any help would be very much appriciated.

    Hi Dan,

Thanks for your reply. The screeshot shows that your licesnse is correct. I did a test at my side and the mailbox provisioned successfully after assigning the licenses. Hence I think this is not a server side problem. To check whether this is related to your tenant, please refer to the suggstion I provide in PM to seek for further assistance.

    Hi Sylvie,

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly.

I can confirm that they can access portal.office365.com but when they click on the outlook app they still get the 'no mailbox' error.

As far as I can tell all licences have been ticked. I've attched a few screenshots as requested.

I created a test account via the admin portal but the same problem still occurs.

If you require any more information please let me know.

    Many thanks,

    Dan

    Hi Dan Papple,

Based on the error message and your description, it seems like the mailbox has not been set up completely in your Office 365 organization.

Generally, when an Exchange account assigned a valid license, this user will be able to use this mailbox after a while. Please kindly check whether this user can sign into portal.office.com.

Meanwhile, I would like to confirm the licenses you assigned to this user, you can go to https://admin.microsoft.com > User > Active Users > select the related user and navigate to Licenses and Apps to check it, and provide us a screenshot of your results here at your convenience.

Besides, if you create a new user from Office 365 admin center and assign the related licenses to this user, will this work?

Thanks for your cooperation. I am looking forward to your reply.

    Best Regards,

    Sylvie
